Self-organization of fluid and solid structures on fluid interfaces at the macroscopic scale
The controlled manipulation of fluids and solids on fluid interfaces is of great importance in science and industry. Interfacial instabilities constitute a powerful tool for such a manipulation. This project focuses on the self-organization of fluid and solid structures at the macroscopic scale due to interfacial instabilities. The proposed research combines experiments and mathematical modeling, the two approaches complementing each other.
